Cameroon Volcanoes

 

Cameroon is home to an active volcanic line. This line includes Mount Cameroon, a very high peak in Africa, known for its frequent eruptions. In addition to Mount Cameroon, other notable volcanoes in the country include a field with numerous cinder cones, and a stratovolcano with a crater lake. These volcanoes are potentially hazardous, but also contribute to the fertile soils and stunning landscapes of the region.
