- Son of Gemini Cave
Nearby the Gemini caves (Castor and Pollux) is a small cave simply known as “Son of Gemini Cave”.
Son of Gemini Cave is characterised by an exceptionally small entrance. Passage through this entrance necessitates a very slender physique. Upon entry, the cave widens marginally. A short westward passage presents numerous blockages and a tree trunk. However, the cave’s limited size renders it unsuitable for comprehensive surveying.
Cave Type: Lava Cave
Location: Auckland Volcanic Field
Surveyed: No
