Pulsating mud

This mud flow feature is characterised by a viscous, grey substance forming a bulbous mound with concentric ring-like patterns emanating from a central point. This feature, often associated with mud pools results from the expulsion of pressurised mud and gases from underground. The geothermal feature exhibits distinctive rhythmic movements, rising and falling in a manner reminiscent of a breathing organism, while periodically emitting gas bubbles and mud.
