2023 | January 2023: VAAC Darwin has issued an ash advisory with ash rising to 1.5km. |
2022 | Minor eruptions continue with multiple ash advisories issued. |
2019 | June-Present – Ongoing eruptions / volcanic ash advisories issued. |
2018 | January – Major and unexpected eruption started on January 5. This initial eruption lasted several days with extensive lava/pyroclastic flows. Multiple ash columns rose to 2000m causing the entire population to be evacuated to nearby Blup Blup Island |
