Tank Farm or as it's also known as Tuff Crater is an explosion crater on the North Shore of Auckland. It last erupted approximately 200,000 years ago, about the same time as the nearby explosion crater of Onepoto. Tank Farm's tuff ring was partially removed with the construction of the nearby motorway. Today, Tank Farm is a tidal lagoon.
