Otara Hill is a volcano located in East Tamaki, Auckland. Initially explosive with a tuff ring, Otara Hill turned dry and built a scoria cone reaching 89 meters above sea level. It has subsequently been quarried away and nothing volcanic is visible today. Industrial buildings are now built on the site.
