Mount Gabriel (Waitomokia) is an explosion crater and scoria cone volcano located in Mangere, Auckland. Early eruptions began as explosive, forming a tuff ring approximately 600 meters wide. Later eruptions built up three distinctive scoria cones which were all quarried away in the 1950's. The volcano has been heavily modified and today is the home of a winery.
