Kohuora Crater is an explosion crater located in Papatoetoe, Auckland. Kohuora is an incredibly complex volcano, having erupted from at least three separate vents. The crater is surrounded by a tuff ring reaching up to 30 meters high. Today, the crater is a lot shallower (with sediment) than it once was. It is home to various sport fields and an important wetland area.
