Crater Hill is an explosion crater volcano located in the suburb of Mangere, Auckland. The crater is surrounded by a relatively intact tuff ring approximately 800 meters wide. There is a small island near the middle of the crater and is the remnants of a once large lava lake that occupied the crater.
