- Boggust Park Crater
Boggust Park Volcano is one of the older volcanoes in the Auckland Volcanic Field, however has only been recently recognised as a volcano (back in 2011). A semi circular tuff rings (6-8m) surrounds the crater area. It is believed that the crater was at some stage breached by the sea and was an intertidal lagoon. Today, the volcano is home to a number of sports fields and playground at the center of the crater.
