Not far from the coast, we stumbled onto a labyrinth of caves that didn’t look natural at all. They looked like they’d been built by hand. The walls were made of horizontal layers that looked exactly like stacked bricks or masonry work.
If you didn’t know better, you’d swear someone had come in here and laid courses of stone to build the place. But it’s completely natural. It’s just how the earth settled in these neat, repeating rows over millions of years.
