Hidden Canyon

Our extensive explorations of New Zealand’s remote coastlines have often yielded fascinating discoveries. Today’s find was particularly remarkable. We stumbled upon a narrow passageway, nearly hidden by Toetoe grass.

Intrigued, we ventured through this natural corridor, which stretched for at least a hundred meters. The passage eventually opened up, revealing an awe-inspiring sight: a vast circular canyon enclosed by towering walls reaching heights of 150 meters or more.
