This project delivers reliable aurora forecasts by leveraging solar wind data from the DSCOVR and ACE satellites positioned at the L1 Lagrange point. These predictions provide up to 60 minutes of advance notice and are validated against real-time data from ground-based magnetometers.
Once there is high confidence of aurora, the system sends alert notifications via email, mobile, and Telegram. Version 1.1 is currently in closed beta, with a global community of Aurora enthusiasts testing it.
