New Zealand is being soaked by another atmospheric river, bringing severe rainfall across the Bay of Plenty Region in New Zealand. Almost 300mm fell during our chase, causing rivers to flood, surface flooding and landslides. Areas covered in these images/video include roads around Whakatane, Opotiki, SH2 between Opotiki and Gisborne and SH35 towards Te Kaha.
