I’ve always had a massive soft spot for limestone coastlines, especially when they take on that iconic “pancake rock” layering. While New Zealand has a few famous spots that everyone knows about, the real magic happens when you push into the more remote, untouched corners of the country.

This specific spot, however, is hands down the best I’ve ever seen. It honestly feels like stepping onto another planet. The limestone formations are completely wild and jagged, but what really sets it apart are the vibrant, mossy green shelves. They’re constantly dripping with water, creating these delicate, natural waterfalls that spill right onto the sand.
