Te Pou Hawaiki is a volcano located in the suburb of Epsom, Auckland. The original scoria cone (a small one, only rising about five meters) has been completely quarried away. It likely started as an explosion crater, with evidence of a surrounding tuff ring. Today, the site is occupied by the University of Auckland and only small sections of lava flows remain.
