Mount Albert (Ōwairaka) is a scoria cone volcano located in the suburb of Mount Albert, Auckland. It rises to 135 meters high. It began as an explosive eruption, producing a tuff ring. Once the volcano turned dry, it formed a large scoria cone, burying most of the original tuff ring. The volcano also produced a number of lava flows.
